On Friday, July 14, 2023, Deacon Paul Hauck celebrated his 75th birthday.

Happy Birthday, Deacon Paul!!

All priest and deacons are required by canon law to retire at 75. Deacon Paul requested that his diaconate

ministry be extended and Archbishop Aymond has extended his diaconate assignment until December 13, 2023. On this date when Deacon Paul celebrates the 15th anniversary of his diaconate ordination, he will officially retire from active diaconate ministry. Although he is officially retiring, Deacon Paul and his wife Lillian will remain active members of our parish community.

Deacon Paul was ordained as a permanent deacon in 2008. He has been assigned to SCS since 2015. We are grateful for Deacon Paul’s 8+ years of ministry at SCS and 15 years of diaconate ministry!

St. Catherine of Siena will host a retirement party for Deacon Paul on Saturday, December 9 after the vigil Mass from 5:00 - 6:30 pm. We invite all parishioners to join us to thank Deacon Paul for his faithful ministry!
