"What the world is in particular need of today is the credible witness of people...capable of opening the hearts and minds of many to the desire for God and for true life."
- Pope Benedict XVI, Porta Fidei 15
Scripture tells us to “always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope” 1 Peter 3:15.
We all love stories! As disciples of Christ, the reason for our hope is reflected in our individual stories of how we encountered Jesus and saw His presence in our lives. There is no more effective witness to the glory of God than simply sharing our stories.
Each month, we will feature the testimony of a St. Catherine of Siena parishioner. These stories provide an opportunity for us to learn from each other’s faith journeys and to be reminded of the hope that belongs to us the adopted sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:16-17).
If you are a parishioner and you would like to share your story, please contact Joni Parent Maurer in the parish office.
